You might also look into the fact that the Harvard Crimson began shutting down the comments sections of its articles about a week into the October 7 catastrophe. Us old fogies (I am class of "64) need some place to vent. A few of us found the Crimson's comments sections a welcome refuge and a place from which to lob easy potshots. Now we have been shut down. As the left likes to say, silence is violence. Shame them into opening up to let the air in.
Yes. But only because those in charge do not see how over it is, and therefore do not even begin to understand what kind of fundamental change is needed. For example, their deluded notion of giving the DEI apparatus the job of dealing now with antisemitism. Instead of fire hoses and water, they're going to give 'em gasoline.
